Patricia Farrar-Rivas, Farrar-Rivas Impact Consulting. She is currently an elected Councilwoman for the City of Sonoma. She is co-founder and former CEO of Veris Wealth Partners, a national impact investing wealth management firm. She is considered one of the early pioneers in the impact investing sector, providing services as an impact investment advisor/consultant since 1992. Patricia is a member of Upstart Lab’s Creative Economy Fund investment committee and is a member of the Transformative 25 review committee. She also serves as a board member of Sonoma Clean Power Authority and the Sonoma Ecology Center.
Patricia has served on various non-profit boards and councilssupporting the impact investing sector. These include As You Sow, a nonprofit organization promoting corporate responsibility through shareholder advocacy, grant making, and innovative legal strategiesand the Standards Council for the Sustainability Accounting Standards Board (SASB), a nonprofit developing and disseminating industry-specific sustainability accounting standards for material, nonfinancial (ESG) information. She was a principal consultant to the Envestnet Sustainability Platform and a member of the Envestnet Advisory Board.
