Addy Lord (she/they) is a design strategist, collaboration enthusiast, and community builder living in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. With her formative years in Montana, she tapped into its dogged and innovative spirit to develop a passion for learning to do nearly anything. Early access to computers paired with her curiosity sparked an interest in digital design as a problem-solving method. Over the past dozen years, this work has been heavily weighted toward the financial industry, working with banking and media giants in designing and improving software for professionals and the general public. Initially, she experienced great trepidation—even fear—of doing work in the financial industry. Today she spreads her zeal around money and finance, jumping into any conversation about transformative perspectives and experiences with money.
Addy is currently researching, creating, and pursuing a self-directed graduate-level education in Finance as a foundation to create a personal and professional practice to facilitate the free flow of community wealth.
From her role as a mother and partner to that of a neighbor and designer, she finds all the ways she can—small and large—to build connections between resources, people, and place in pursuit of fostering fulfilling, joyful lives.
