Arani Kajenthira is Founder and CEO of Impact Pollinator, where she designs values-aligned investment strategies and holds space for reflections on wealth, family, and legacy.
Prior to founding Impact Pollinator, Arani was Managing Director of Investing at Good Chaos, a single-family office where she was a founding team member and built and led the investment function. There, she managed a multimillion-dollar portfolio with a focus on early-stage companies and emerging funds, designed investment processes that balanced financial performance with impact and learning potential, and served as a trusted advisor to first-time founders and fund managers, including by serving on multiple LP advisory committees.
Previously, at Walton Enterprises, Arani supported the Walton family’s philanthropic and investment priorities, underwriting investments across asset classes and facilitating cross-family collaboration. Her career began at FSG, where she advised foundations and nonprofits on systems change, and at Harvard Kennedy School’s Belfer Center, where she led research on water, energy, and food policy.
A Rhodes Scholar, Arani holds a PhD in Earth Sciences and Engineering from the University of Oxford and a BS in Biological Engineering from the University of Guelph. Outside of work, she is an avid reader, food lover, and an advocate for women and diverse-owned businesses.
