Cohort Year: Cohort 2 (2018-2019)

Country: United States

Affiliation: Really Good Ideas

City / State: Boulder, CO

Daniel is an investor in sustainable development goals and a scholar in wealth psychology. He collaborates with other changemakers to build a collective genius that propels values-based investing fully into the mainstream. Daniel is also passionate about transforming the internal conversations people have with money. Currently, Daniel works with networks of foundations and impact investors to create collaborative approaches to investing and philanthropy, particularly around the goals of ecological stewardship and providing basic needs for all. As an Integrated Capital Fellow, he looks forward to building a transformed practice that helps channel capital towards making more effective and lasting change. Daniel cares deeply about sustainability, stewardship, conservation, innovation, health, and wellness. As a business development professional for over a decade, with assignments all around the world, he has worked with and alongside organizations such as National Geographic, The Nature Conservancy, and Counterpart International on conservation programs and sustainable tourism initiatives, particularly on transformational travel. Daniel is also a yoga teacher and coach, and has supported communities of men’s work over the past decade. He earned his Masters in Sustainable Development from The George Washington University, and holds a B.A. magna cum laude in Geography and Anthropology from Dartmouth College. Currently based in San Francisco, he dreams about relocating to the mountains, where he can hike in old growth forests, grow and eat his own food, and geek out on permaculture with friends.
