As a partner at Melvin Consulting PLLC, Eileen Egan is responsible for setting strategic direction and day-to-day operations. Her work focuses on designing communities of practice for nonprofits and funders, board development, strategic planning and philanthropic advising.  

Eileen is passionate about directing more philanthropic resources to Native communities and partners with national, regional, and local entities on initiatives from endowment building and narrative change efforts, to creating individual giving programs and facilitating crucial conversations that lead to meaningful change.  

The core values of mentorship, relationships, responsibility, and reciprocity guide her work. A citizen of the Hopi Tribe, Eileen enjoys teaching and sharing what she has learned from her own mentors and experiences. She previously served on the Board of Directors of the Hopi Education Endowment Fund, Native Public Media, Arizona Indian Living Treasures Awards.
