Jensyn is Director of Philanthropy at Heifer International, a global nonprofit on a mission to end hunger and poverty by supporting and investing alongside farmer entrepreneurs and their communities. In this role, she leads the local relations strategy, building partnerships around philanthropy and impact investing. Jensyn holds a master’s degree in Community and Economic Development and completed two terms of AmeriCorps service with a focus on women’s empowerment. She is passionate about gender equity, diversity, and inclusion, and she believes intentionality around those efforts builds more successful entities and stronger communities. In addition to her work at Heifer, Jensyn is the Digital Director for The Yarn Storytelling, a local initiative that uses the power of story to amplify voices, build understanding, and create space for human connection. Jensyn is also involved with SheEO, a global community that invests in women-led ventures, and locally she strives to create a more robust social entrepreneurship ecosystem in Arkansas. Jensyn currently lives in Little Rock, Arkansas, where she is surrounded by love and chaos with her husband, little girl, two dogs, three cats, and three chickens! She enjoys outdoor activities, such as gardening, hiking, and kayaking, as well as live music, hosting events, and making wine.
