As Vice President of Partnerships for Possibility Labs, Vanessa Huang co-designs and leverages financial and information infrastructure to support, accelerate, and catalyze collaboration within the ecosystem of communities, institutions, sectors, and movements co-creating a just economy. Vanessa’s approach is informed by two decades as a strategist and operative partnering with visionary leaders across civic, nonprofit, and philanthropic sectors to advance racial, gender, economic, and environmental justice.  

Previously, Vanessa was Chief Strategy and Partnerships Advisor for Movement Strategy Center, leading Advancement and philanthropic services; Development Director for Restaurant Opportunities Centers United, partnering with #MeToo and #TimesUp champions to illuminate One Fair Wage as a key policy solution to counter sexual harassment in the restaurant industry; and Policy and Communications Director leading California decarceration campaigns and expanding the trans/gender justice field in collaboration with people in women’s prisons, transgender women of color, and intersecting LGBT and reproductive justice movements. Vanessa holds a B.A. from Brown University in Ethnic Studies and was a Women’s Policy Institute Fellow with the Women’s Foundation of California.
