Jose Salvador Orellana (he/they) is a queer, Salvadoran American movement strategist, donor organizer, and youth power builder rooted in California’s Central Valley. Born and raised in Delano—the birthplace of the Farm Labor Movement—Jose brings a decade of experience in grassroots organizing, political strategy, and nonprofit leadership.
Jose is the Co-Founder and Executive Director of LOUD For Tomorrow and LOUD Action Fund, youth-led organizations building political and cultural power for BIPOC youth across Kern and Tulare Counties. Under his leadership, Jose has trained and supported hundreds of young leaders, run bold electoral and advocacy campaigns, and helped raise over $3 million to fuel organizing, healing, and creative movement work.
Jose also co-founded the Central Valley Nonprofit Resiliency Network & Fund, a regional initiative to strengthen grassroots organizations across the Central Valley through funding, training, and peer support.
A first-generation college graduate, Jose is passionate about building sustainable movements, democratizing philanthropy, and creating spaces of joy, healing, and abundance for queer and trans people of color.
