Paicines Ranch
All three immersions are hosted at Paicines Ranch in California, a working ranch in the San Benito Valley managed for soil health and ecological restoration. The land is an important part of the program, where Fellows connect with nature and engage in experiential learning.
Dates
The current fellowship program runs late September through late June.
- Immersion 1: October 19-23, 2026
- Immersion 2: March 1-5, 2027
- Immersion 3: June 21-25, 2027
Participation in all three immersions is required.
The fellowship is built around three five-day immersions, and includes ten online sessions with leading practitioners, one-on-one advisor sessions, peer coaching, connection calls, and online resources.
Cost
Sliding scale, from $10,000 to $40,000 USD.
The cost to support one Fellow is $25,000 USD, which covers tuition, faculty, advisors, speakers, staff, materials, online sessions, resources and on-site lodging and meals at all three immersions. The fee does not cover travel to and from Paicines Ranch.
JEI uses a sliding scale to keep the fellowship accessible. For those who can afford to pay more, we invite you to be generous, so we can make the fellowship accessible to leaders with different levels of financial resources. Fellows can pay their fees over two to three years.
