
Kristi Fairholm Mader has always worked in the social change sector, from front line to project management to Executive Director and sector convener. Kristi has a track record of starting and operating social enterprises, and finding entrepreneurial solutions to today’s challenges. In 2014, Kristi co-founded Scale Collaborative, assisting the social change sector to diversify revenues in order to achieve greater independence and scale impact. The link exists between money and impact and Kristi is committed to financially sustainable organizations in order to achieve more of the other. Kristi also is the co-Executive Director of a non-profit working to prevent homelessness and increase housing stability. Other cross-sector initiatives that Kristi convenes and provides local leadership to include: Thriving Non Profits program, Social Venture Bootcamp and Incubator, seCatalyst and Vancouver Island Buy Social. Kristi loves living in Victoria, BC – stunning water and mountain views never get old!
