Lev Freedman is the Founder and Managing Director of Foundation Fund, a 100% Impact Endowment dedicated to aligning investments with social and environmental good. As an impact investor, philanthropist, and community builder, Lev works to channel capital toward projects and organizations that help create a more regenerative and cooperative world.
He has co-developed two land-based intentional communities in Austin, Texas, and one on the Big Island of Hawai‘i, weaving together differing levels of sustainable living, community governance, and deep connection to place.
Lev also has a lifelong passion for working with young people. His background in outdoor education and involvement in innovative youth initiatives reflects his commitment to helping guide and support the next generation. He has worked on projects that equip youth with the skills, confidence, and sense of purpose needed to thrive as compassionate, capable adults—especially at a time when their voices and leadership are needed most.
