Rebecca Kern is committed to reimagining how capital can serve people and communities. She thrives at the intersection of strategy and execution, working alongside visionary leaders to turn bold ideas into lasting change.
An immigrant and the first in her family to graduate from university, Rebecca brings a lived understanding of resilience and opportunity. For six years, she has mentored a young person through Children Services, an experience that grounds her work in trust and perspective.
Rebecca built her career in finance, spending much of it in wealth management, where she advised high-net-worth families. This experience gave her deep knowledge of financial tools and strategies, expertise she now applies to building community-driven models that prioritize resilience, stewardship, and shared prosperity.
Today, she serves as Director of Capital & Growth at Catch Together, a nonprofit supporting small business fishermen. She helps lead a $10M capital raise and advances community ownership strategies returning access to natural resources to local hands. She is the founder of The Progress Partner, a consulting practice helping businesses and nonprofits thrive.
Her work is driven by a belief in an ownership economy where financial returns and community wellbeing go hand in hand, creating prosperity that lasts across generations.
