Ben Fenton is an experienced investor, board member and advisor. Most recently, Ben was an original team member of Boulder based venture capital firm BFG Partners. BFG invests primarily in better-for-you consumer product companies across food, beverage, beauty and personal care, pet and dietary supplements. During Ben’s 8.5 plus years at BFG, the firm grew to a team of 7 professionals with approximately $160MM of assets under management. Ben is also a volunteer and most recently served on the Board of Naturally Boulder from 2017-2022, where he was also an executive team member and Treasurer. 

Ben is an avid (and amateur) landscape photographer, runner and cyclist and former triathlete. Ben also loves to cook and bake sourdough bread with locally sourced grains from Colorado and the surrounding geography.  

Ben resides in Boulder, CO with his wife, their 3-year-old son and two dogs. Ben received a B.A. in economics from Duke University, where he was also a member of the Men’s Lacrosse team. Ben is originally from Philadelphia, PA.
