Chad Dyer is a technologist and aspiring capital activist focused on creating a “full stack” impact life that aligns energy, money, choices, and voice with efforts to accelerate Just Transition to a new economy that benefits all life and enables everyone to thrive. After 25 years in technology operations for venture capital firms, most recently as CIO of Sequoia Capital, Chad quit his job in 2020 to focus on this work.
Chad’s theory of change is to use his own experience to make it easier for capital stewards to think about what is enough, to come into relationship with, and to transfer assets to community stewards catalyzing economic self-determination in Black and Indigenous communities in the US. Chad has been privileged to collaborate with and learn from transformative leaders from many organizations including Full Spectrum Capital, Adasina, The Good Life Pledge, The Village SF, and Movement Strategy Center, as well as the Center for NuLeadership.
